Academics Beyond HCC
After completing my associate in arts degree at Hillsborough Community College, I plan to continue my education at a four‑year institution. Because my interests blend business, technology, and emerging fields like artificial intelligence, I am exploring programs that connect these areas and support long‑term career growth.
Below are three programs I may pursue after graduating from HCC.
University of South Florida (USF)
Program: B.S. in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics
The Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics (AIBA) major provides the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the quickly changing world of business which relies on artificial intelligence and analytics to conduct daily operations.
Florida State University (FSU)
Program: B.S. in Management Information Systems (MIS)
FSU’s MIS program is about how businesses use technology to run smoothly. It covers systems analysis, business analytics, databases, and how companies plan their tech strategy. It’s designed to prepare people to connect technical teams with business leadership, which fits well with the kind of work I want to do.
University of Central Florida (UCF)
Program: B.S. in Information Technology
UCF prepares students to design, manage, and support computer-based information systems. The curriculum focuses on programming, databases, networking, cybersecurity, and systems administration. This degree is a strong match for my career goals because it blends technical skills with problem‑solving and business applications.
